Maryland's Eastern Shore luxury home market includes expansive "super-luxury" country estates. Most of these grandiose estates are historic plantation homes or gentleman farms surrounded by acres of land (many times 20 acres or more) and located on the water. Estates may include vineyards, beautiful gardens and well-manicured grounds. These properties can range from $5 million to $20 million.
Other waterfront luxury homes along the Eastern Shore can range from $1.5 million to $5 million or more, while inland luxury properties range in price from $1 million to $2 million.

Chance Hope Farm
Chance Hope Farm is a small waterfront community in St. Michaels, Maryland, consisting of 50 luxury single family homes. These large homes range from 3,000 to 8,000 square feet, and all are waterfront, along the Miles River. Chance Hope Farm is within walking distance of the Harbortowne Golf Course and marinas. Children attend Talbot County Public Schools. Prices range from $1 million to $4 million.

Cooke's Hope is a waterfront community located close to historic downtown Easton. The Springfield section of Cooke's Hope includes 30 luxury estates, with lots ranging from one to three acres. This community is on Peach Blossom Creek off the Tred Avon River, and features a number of amenities, including walking trails, community docks, tennis courts, a fitness center, an indoor pool and a putting green. Homes range from $1.5 million to $3 million.
